It was the first winter I was old enough to remember. My chin barely grazed the sill of the window as I tilted my head back, trying to see through the immense whiteness of the storm. Through the haze, a million tiny flakes slowly fluttered down. I couldn't tell whether they were falling or I was flying.
They look like angels coming down from heaven.
Daddy smiled and looked up at them. "Did you know each one is different from another?"
They are? But there's so many! It's just impossible!
I got dressed and went outside and laid down in the snow on my back. If I stared long enough, everything else faded away and I was just floating around with all the unique angel snowflakes.
Thank you, Angels, for my perfect family.
